WHAT COACHING IS
(AND WHAT IT IS NOT...)

Coaching is a powerful process that supports people in realising their true potential and making changes in their lives.
Thanks to coaching, people become aware of their strengths and abilities and take control of their life and responsibility in achieving their goals.
The definition of coaching according to the International Coaching Federation is: “partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential”.
Coaching is not about giving advice, imparting knowledge, giving therapy or counselling.

The role of the coach is to ask the client provoking questions to motivate, stimulate and guide them along the path they choose. The coach also supports them as they learn to become responsible in deciding the steps to take in order to advance and achieve their goals.

Coaching Sessions can take place in person or online, as appropriate.
